What a
difference a year makes. Last summer we went 70 days without rain and this year
we are above average in rainfall total resulting in a lush, green golf course.
The mowers are working overtime to keep up to the grass cutting.
The only
downfall to this is the wet course conditions. It is imperative that when the
course is wet that all power carts follow all cart signs and stay on paths where
provided. Also, even little chip shots produce ball marks. Please fix all ball
marks. This results in better playing conditions for everyone.

This late
August we will be bringing in the large tree spade for three days. We hope to
move approximately fifty trees which will make a definite difference on the back
nine.
