Design of our
new web site will be completed later this month.
Once complete, we will require a day to test and launch
the new site.
To facilitate this, our web site will
be unavailable for a short period of time. We hope to
minimize any potential inconvenience and will notify you
via email a few days in advance of our scheduled launch
date to keep you informed.
During this brief hiatus, you can
access your Tee-On account by going directly to
www.tee-on.com. For
all other course-related matters, you can
contact us here at the course.
We are very much looking forward to unveiling the new
site and appreciate your patience and cooperation for a
quick successful site launch.

What a great
start to the spring weather! Hopefully it will continue into the summer. The new pond
construction is well underway. All construction work should be finished by May
2nd. The restoration of the golf course (sod and seed) will take place the
following week, weather permitting. I know it may be difficult but please try to
keep off all new sod and seeded areas as much as possible. There will be marking
flags all over the golf course indicating newly seeded areas from the grub
damage. Last year was the first year we had grubs on the golf course which was
directly related to the dry weather of last summer.
Our annual
spring aeration of greens will also take place this month. Exact days have not
been determined yet but will be posted in the pro shop a few days in advance.
Thank you for your patience while we undertake the most important cultural
program for our greens.
Unfortunately
this nice weather has been good for the golfers but not so great for the turf.
The lack of rain has slowed the new growth down so the course is taking longer
to recover from the winter. The dam is finally closed and all irrigation broken
during pond construction will be fixed this week so we will have irrigation
again. This also means that the course washrooms will be open very soon.
If you have
any questions pertaining to the golf course or just want to have a look around
our maintenance facilities, stop by the maintenance building anytime.
Thanks,
Fred Schmoelzl, Golf Course
Superintendent
