With the weather seeming to turn for the better, we just wanted to remind everyone that the golf course, itself, remains closed for two reasons:

1) Course conditions still make it unplayable for golf.

2) The Government’s Declaration of Emergency which closes all outdoor recreational amenities.

We are allowed to complete essential maintenance on the course to protect it, so when it is deemed safe and appropriate, there will be no delay in letting golfers out. We ask that you respect these measures and stay off the course.

We are excited to announce that although the Mitchell Golf and Country Club is not open for regular service, we have adapted and will help serve our loyal customers! Our staff have been working to tighten our sanitation and safety protocols to incorporate new guidelines put forward by the Ministry of Health.

Our hope as a member of the community is to offer a ‘take-out’ service that keeps ourselves and our customers’ safe while still offering a great menu as a solution to “what do we eat tonight?”

Our take-out menu allows you to call in advance, arrive at the golf course for you order and stay in your car while our servers bring your food out to you. We are set up for pre-payment on credit cards or have wireless debit machines to bring to your car. For the purpose of cleanliness, we will not be dealing with cash.

We are excited to offer this menu to you and still hopeful for a great year moving forward!

Even though there is still that white stuff on the ground, it is not too early to start thinking about golf season and planning your tournament schedule! Below are the list of dates for our 2020 tournament schedule:

Saturday, May 2nd – 2-man “How Low Can You Go?” Scramble
Wednesday, June 24th – Ladies Golf Tournament
Friday, July 3rd – Men’s Invitational
Wednesday, July 29th – Ladies Scramble
Wednesday, August 26th – Senior Men’s Invitational
Saturday, September 19th – Men’s Fall Scramble
