Jake Near
General Manager

Jake Near is the General Manager at the Mitchell Golf and Country Club.
Jake started at the MGC in March of 2023, after a 4 year career in Finance.
Jake attended Lambton College and graduated in 2015 with a diploma in Sports and Recreation Management. He then went on to attend Brock University and graduated in December 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences.
Ryan Woestenenk
Head Greens Superintendent

Ryan Woestenenk is the Head Greens Superintendent at the Mitchell Golf and Country Club.
Ryan has worked at the Mitchell Golf Club for 7 years prior to becoming the Superintendent in March 2019, gaining experience in all aspects of maintaining a golf course. During these years he has become well versed in the day to day operations of the maintenance department at the Mitchell Golf Club and is part of the health and safety committee.
Ryan graduated from the Turf Management program at the University of Guelph in 2016.
Judy Jansen
Kitchen Operations Manager
Judy Jansen is the Kitchen Operations Manager at the Mitchell Golf and Country Club.
Judy brings her 10+ years’ experience at the MGC to her new role, which should make for a smooth transition.
She will be responsible for managing and executing food and kitchen functions.
