Volunteers Needed – Tuesday Divot Crew
We’re in the heart of tournament season, and with the course seeing plenty of play, our fairways are showing it! We’re looking for some volunteers to lend a hand on Tuesday mornings throughout July & August from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM by helping repair divots around the golf course.
Even an hour of your time can make a big difference in keeping the course in great condition for members, guests, and tournament participants.

Second Annual MGC Scholarship
We’re excited to announce the return of the Mitchell Golf Club Scholarship for its second year! This program was created to help support our staff with the rising costs of post-secondary education.
Congratulations once again to our 2025 scholarship recipients, Abby Fawcett and Maegan Burrill. We were proud to support them in their educational journeys, and we’re looking forward to awarding this year’s scholarships.
Holes in One
It’s been an exciting stretch at Mitchell Golf Club with not one, but two holes-in-one!
Congratulations to Gareth Hampson, who aced Hole #7 during Men’s League, and to Tim Eickmeyer, who recorded a hole-in-one during the Bash 4 Bros Tournament this past weekend.
A tremendous accomplishment by both golfers—congratulations on shots you’ll never forget!
Junior Program
Our Junior Program is officially underway, and it’s been great to see so many young golfers out on the course each Tuesday!
A reminder that the Junior Program is included with every Junior Membership and runs Tuesdays from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM throughout July & August.
It’s a great opportunity for juniors to develop their skills, build confidence, and have fun in a welcoming environment.
Match Play – Second Round
Round 2 of Match Play is now underway!
Please ensure your second round match is completed by Friday, July 24. Scheduling your match early helps avoid conflicts and ensures the event stays on schedule.
If you need your opponent’s contact information or have any questions, please contact the Pro Shop and we’ll be happy to assist.

Sr. Ryder Cup Update
Congratulations to our Mitchell Golf Club Senior Ryder Cup Team on an outstanding performance during the home event on June 24th! The team earned an impressive 30 of a possible 32 points, making for a very successful day on home turf.
With another strong showing, Mitchell continues to hold firm in 2nd place in the division standings.
Congratulations to all of our players, and best of luck in the remaining events as the team continues its push toward the top of the standings!
Club Tournaments
Our 2026 Club Tournaments have been a tremendous success, and many events are now at or near capacity!
There are still a few spots remaining in our Fall Scramble and Ladies’ Scramble, and we also have space available in our Senior Men’s Invitational.
